Executive Project Manager

Andres Alvear is a mission-driven nonprofit executive with more than 20 years of experience leading youth-serving and community-based organizations. He has held senior leadership roles at BUILD, Inc., MAPSCorps, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Chicago, and the Active Transportation Alliance. Andres brings deep expertise in organizational strategy and planning, operations and infrastructure, IT systems, data and performance management, evaluation, change management, and talent development.

His experience includes developing strategic plans, standard operating procedures, cross-functional systems, dashboards, KPI frameworks, and processes that strengthen board and staff alignment. His primary focus is supporting youth-serving nonprofits and community-based organizations, particularly those operating in urban environments or serving communities of color. Andres holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Illinois Chicago and is bilingual in English and Spanish.
